The 2011-12 season is finally here, as the Winterhawks open the new campaign Friday night at the Rose Garden at 7 p.m. against the Everett Silvertips.

Before dropping the puck, the Winterhawks willtake one last look at last season's incredible run to the WHL Finals when they raise the banners to commemorate their U.S. Division and Western Conference championships, presented by Konica Minolta Business Solutions.

Fans will also want to arrive early as outside the Rose Garden beginning at 5 p.m. we’ll have the inflatable puck shoot, a bounce house, rock wall, beer garden and live entertainment.
