Tom-A-Hawk has been bringing joy and happiness to the Portland Winterhawks since 2001. He loves to get Winterhawks fans whipped into a frenzy, especially against the Seattle Thunderbirds. There’s nothing Tom-A-Hawk loves more than having bragging rights over Seattle’s Cool Bird.

The popular mascot enjoys having a fun and goofy time at all home Winterhawks games and at community events hosted by the Hawks. When he isn’t at a Winterhawks event, he’s in his living room watching tapes from previous games and getting mentally prepared for the next big contest.

Tom-A-Hawk loves immersing himself in the middle of screaming Portland fans, especially children. Fans who attend a home Portland game can often see Tom-A-Hawk busting a move with the best of them on the videoboard, cheering on his Hawks to bring home the win.

Tom-A-Hawk acknowledges the fact that he may be a little fixated with the Hawks, but he can’t find it in himself to take a day off from his favorite team. He tells anyone who will listen that as long as fans continue to fill the seats to watch the Portland Winterhawks, that he will always be there to cheer with them.
