2010-11: Joined the Winterhawks on Jan. 4 after opening the season with the NCAA’s University of Denver… In 29 games with Portland, posted two goals and 11 assists for 13 points while finishing +25…His +25 was first among all WHL rookies…First WHL point was an assist on Jan. 15 at Kamloops…First goal came on Jan. 21 at Everett, beginning a three-game point streak…Had two two-point games…Played 21 playoff games, totaling a goal and four assists for five points… Shared team’s Defensive Player of the Year Award with Taylor Aronson…Had one assist in 18 games with Denver this season, his sophomore campaign, before joining the Winterhawks.

Career: Drafted by San Jose in the second round, 43rd overall, of the 2009 NHL Draft…As a freshman last season, he had seven assists in 23 games with Denver…Prior to attending the University of Denver, Wrenn spent two years with the United States National Team Development Program…In 2008-09 he was captain of the Under-18 team, and had six goals and 11 assists for 17 points…Wrenn also helped Team USA win gold at the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Under-18 championship.
