Teddy Bear Toss ::

Teddy Bear Toss Date: Saturday November 28, 2009
Time: 7:00 PM
Nov. 28 will be the popular Teddy Bear Toss, when fans throw teddy bears onto the ice after the Winterhawks' first goal. The bears are later donated to patients at local children's hospitals. The team will be looking to improve on last year's record-setting mark of 22,392 bears. Make sure you get your tickets today!

The Great Airplane Toss ::

Date: Saturday December 19, 2009
Time: 7:00 PM
On December 19, the Winterhawks will host the Great Airplane Toss, where during an intermission fans will have the chance to win great prizes by landing their paper airplanes closest to a target on the ice.

New Year's Eve Celebration ::

Date: Thursday December 31, 2009
Time: 8:00 PM
The Winterhawks will then continue with their New Year's Eve tradition of hosting archrival Seattle when the Thunderbirds come to town to ring in 2010 on Dec. 31. The game will start at 8 p.m. with fans able to celebrate the new year with a post-game skate on the Rose Garden ice with Winterhawks players.

Mascot Night ::

On January 30, the Winterhawks will host Mascot Night, a popular family event where over a dozen mascots for various local and regional teams come together to entertain the crowd and compete in an intermission hockey game.

Buckaroo Salute ::

Buckaroo Salute Date: Friday February 05, 2010
Time: 7:00 PM
February 5 will be the Salute to the Buckaroos, where the Winterhawks honor the city's original hockey dynasty and members of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame Night ::

Date: Saturday March 06, 2010
Time: 7:00 PM
On March 6, the team will host its inaugural Winterhawks Hall of Fame Night, when the Winterhawks induct the first class into its newly-formed Hall of Fame. The inductees will be announced closer to the event.
